These are this year’s best hotels and resorts in Europe – as voted for by you in our Readers’ Choice Awards 2023
This year, there’s a slew of elegant city favourites such as Shangri-La Paris and Hassler Roma which have caught your imagination, alongside relative newcomers like Mandarin Oriental Istanbul. Amsterdam hotels dominated the ‘best of Europe’ category taking six spots, including the top one, and, unsurprisingly, there’s still lots of love for the splendid hotels of around Lake Como, although a Tuscan beauty has taken the Italian lead for 2023.
