Greek singer Antonis Remos appears ready to make a highly anticipated return to live performances. According to reports, he has once again accepted the annual invitation to take the stage at the world-famous Nammos beach club on Mykonos, the iconic “Island of the Winds.”
Remos’ summer performances at the cosmopolitan Psarou Beach have become legendary and are now considered a hallmark of the Aegean’s luxury nightlife scene. Over the years, these exclusive events have welcomed some of the biggest names in international music. Sharing the stage with Remos have been renowned artists such as Julio Iglesias, Eros Ramazzotti, and the legendary Gipsy Kings.
Unless unforeseen circumstances arise, this year’s highly anticipated concert is expected to take place during the last weekend of July. For now, organizers are keeping details under wraps, and no official announcement has been made regarding which Greek or international artist will join him on stage.
Celebrating 30 Years of Career Success
The timing of these developments coincides with an important personal and professional milestone for the singer. Just days before celebrating his 56th birthday—he was born on June 19, 1970—Remos is reportedly planning significant changes to his career.
Sources suggest that he has decided to step away entirely from major nightclub and concert venue residencies during the upcoming winter season. The move leaves uncertainty surrounding his long-standing collaboration with the well-known Marousoulis-Kottaridis entertainment group.
At the same time, strong rumors circulating within the entertainment industry—although not officially confirmed—suggest that Remos may return in autumn 2027 to the historic Diogenis Studio. The venue is now controlled by influential businessman and close friend Giannis Papalekas, who was previously a major shareholder in Nammos.
Before any long-term plans materialize, however, Remos is preparing to meet his audience at two major upcoming events.
The first will take place on June 17, when he is scheduled to appear at the annual MAD Music Awards. During the ceremony, he will receive a special award recognizing his long-standing contribution to Greek music. The honor coincides with the 30th anniversary of the start of his professional career in Athens, which also marked the release of his first solo album.
Another major event is planned for September, when the artist is expected to headline what is being described as the largest free concert ever organized in Thessaloniki. The performance will take place along the city’s waterfront, allowing Remos to return to his hometown roots and celebrate this milestone alongside fellow Thessalonians.
