The Connecting with the Best program concluded its participation with a strong international footprint at the 24th edition of ILTM Cannes (International Luxury Travel Market), the world’s leading luxury travel exhibition, which took place from 1 to 4 December 2025 at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès in Cannes, France.
The delegation was led by Ambassador Mykonos Promo – HACC New York, Mykonos-based, Mr. Kostas Skagias, aiming to showcase premium destinations along with the luxury and exclusive services offered by the program’s member businesses to the elite global luxury travel market.
During the exhibition, the program’s specialized partners engaged in targeted B2B meetings with more than 70 luxury travel advisors and travel designers who curate tailor-made experiences for high-net-worth clients. In addition, meetings were held with representatives of international tour operators specializing in premium travel experiences, as well as leading lifestyle and travel media from top international publications and platforms.
ILTM Cannes is recognized as the world’s most important luxury tourism exhibition and the flagship event of the ILTM Collection. Each year, it hosts over 85,000 pre-scheduled meetings between luxury hotels, premium destinations, exclusive travel experiences and hand-selected travel advisors serving High Net Worth Individuals (HNWI).
The global luxury travel market continues to demonstrate strong growth momentum. Its total value was estimated at USD 1.48 trillion in 2024 and is projected to reach USD 2.36 trillion by 2030, with an annual growth rate of 8.2%. At the same time, luxury hotel bookings recorded a 26% increase during the first half of 2025, confirming the sector’s dynamic expansion.
As part of the program’s presence at ILTM Cannes, a high-level meeting also took place between Mr. Kostas Skagias and Ms. Andy Liakopoulou, Counsellor for Economic and Commercial Affairs, as well as Ms. Vanessa Soulandrou, Secretary for Economic and Commercial Affairs at the Greek Embassy in Paris, together with Mr. Vaggelis Daktylidis from the Myconian Collection Hotels.

Mr. Skagias was also joined at the exhibition by representatives of the Greek National Tourism Organisation, executives from Myconian Collection Hotels and Myconian Grand Resort, as well as representatives from Semeli Group and Villa Aegeas, highlighting the strong international interest in Greece’s upscale tourism offering.

The successful participation of Connecting with the Best at ILTM Cannes 2025 once again underlined the strategic importance of international outreach and targeted promotion of Greece and its premium tourism products within the most demanding global markets.
