Rhodes welcomes its first cruise ship of the year on Sunday, with MSC’s ‘Lirica’ bringing 1,787 tourists to the popular SE Aegean island, ANA reports.
The passengers were welcomed at the island at 10:00 am with a brief ceremony onboard the cruise ship for the exchange of gifts.
Local information noted the passengers include Italian, French, Spanish, American, and British nationals. Most of them will go on excursions on the island, while the rest will tour the medieval and the modern town of Rhodes proper.
